About the Department

The department of English is located on the 1st floor of the Jubilee building of Ranaghat College. The Department of English is one of the leading departments of Ranaghat College. It was initiated primarily as a teaching department for General course. But Honours in English has been introduced in 2002. A good number of books and journals relating to English are available for the students at our college library.
