About the Department

The Department of Zoology is located on the 2nd floor of the Science building of Ranaghat College.It is one of the leading departments of Ranaghat College. The Department of Zoology offers undergraduate courses in Zoology Honours and General. At that time the subject used to be taught in B.Sc. General course only. Honours course was introduced in Zoology in the year 2000. it has emerged as one of the best learning centres not only in Ranaghat College but also in the University of Kalyani.A good number of books and journals relating to Zoology are available for the students in our Central Library and the Departmental Library.
